This is a picture book for 5-8 and above age group children, for it is a less than one thousand words, full colored story book with a strong story line.

mixed up with materials

At first, it was so hard for me to decide which materials should I use. Through a lot of storyboard painting and basic set up, I finally decided to use mixed material for this book.

character developing

I always love to explore the possibility of the characters. This time, with the character development courses helped, I was able to explore more possibilities of the character's emotions and movements. It really helped me a lot to maintain the story's consistency. Drawing character is always fun!

Story board development

The trickiest thing indeed! I made 8 to 9 times adjustments in this part. The story changed from an extremely complicated adventure to a simple narrative story!

The page narrowed down to thirty-two page format, too!

Final artwork

I spent an entire day binding and cutting paper in the studio.

After 2 months, my final dummy book finished!

My drawing skills improved during this project, and I learned so much about how to improve my storyboard! I am not satisfied with my storybook yet, already looking forward to improve more in master stage!
